Culmination of the situation with Iran

The President of the United States has no choice but to continue attacking Iran for the sake of his credibility. The implicit objectives of the war as described in the article “War with Iran: What are the goals?” have not effectually been achieved. It has not been overwhelmingly demonstrated that the U.S. has the best and most powerful military in the world, that the U.S. has the upper hand with projecting economic influence, and that the U.S. is the predominant global power for world peace. If open war resumes, both sides have threatened to target energy infrastructure. While preventing shipments of oil from the Persian Gulf has had significant effects, attacks on oil infrastructure would be more damaging in the longer term.

Drone Technology

The U.S. CENTCOM commander recently stated that warfare has quickly changed [1]. In the war with Iran, drones have been Iran’s most effective strike capability [2]. Drones are a problem because they are low-altitude aircraft that fly under the radar [2]. The production cost for drones is magnitudes lower than ballistic missiles [2]. Counter-drone defenses include fighter jets on drone hunting sorties, loitering helicopters, and other drones specifically as interceptor drones [2], but there are shortcomings with defending against drones efficiently. Iran’s attack drone capabilities remain a persistent threat [3].

China Relations

The visit of the President of the United States to China was announced back in October 30, 2025, and even at that time was long-expected [4]. While the purpose of the visit was for U.S. - China relations in general, the Iran war certainly was discussed. Three key issues were addressed by China. The Strait of Hormuz should be open, as China opposes militarization of the Strait [5]. Secondly, China agreed that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon [5]. Thirdly, the Chinese President affirmed that China would not be giving military equipment to Iran [6]. The stance of China on these issues implies no objection from China for the U.S. to continue attacking Iran.

Israel and the Biblical Perspective

Israel has been preparing for another round of fighting with Iran while awaiting the final decision from the President of the United States [7]. The U.S. defense secretary has acknowledged that Israel and the U.S. have had “slightly different” objectives at times [8]. Nevertheless, it seems the U.S. President will give the order for intensified attacks to “finish the job”, so as to be able to claim victory and be viewed as a heroic figure in Israel. The Lord Jesus (Yeshua) said in John 5:43, “I have come in My Father’s name, and you have not received Me, but if someone else comes in his own name, you will receive him.” This scenario can be extrapolated from trending events since the mid-20th century alongside insight given in the scriptures.  Indeed, this is not a political issue, but it is a spiritual issue, and also the intent here is not to be controversial, but to give news/analysis truthfully without bias and with a Biblical perspective.
