Stopping Jews from bettering mankind: What drives modern antisemitic conspiracies
Suffering from a lack of nasty offenses to pin on Jews? No problem, make some up! Apparently, that’s what someone decided to do when they disseminated a conspiracy theory that was said to be outlined in a book about “how to destroy Islam and Arab societies.” (“Elders of Zions 2.0? Conspiracy on Jewish book about destroying Islam trends online,” JPost.com, November 21, 2025).
As the accusation rapidly spread online, it became clear that the book, allegedly entitled, “Tired Islam” didn’t even exist. But that didn’t stop posts, containing the imaginary contents, which included a plan to foster discord among Muslims.
None of this is new, though, because for thousands of years, imaginary claims against Jews have come in the form of canards, tropes and conspiracy theories, all designed to discredit, defame, and libel the people who are looked upon with disdain by those who see them as dangerously different from all others.
These myths are effective, because they endeavor to point out the worst tendencies of the ethnicity – everything from greed to an impulse to control the world. But when you realize the miniscule percentage of Jews in comparison to all other races combined, the notion that so much power could be amassed by a people who comprise a mere 0.2% of the entire population becomes patently absurd.
Among all of these false accusations, none have been more stinging than the truly libelous claim of genocide – which, although continuously debunked, is still repeated and believed as factual.
Nonetheless, the bogus claim took off in December 2023 when the International Court of Justice at The Hague brought the defamatory charges against Israel sponsored by South Africa. Relying upon accusations of human rights groups, the lie got traction, and Israel became a pariah among the nations.
It’s not difficult to believe such propaganda when a dishonest media uses the inflated numbers of casualties and deaths, provided by Hamas agencies, designed to bolster the legitimacy that a genocide is truly occurring.
Accusations of genocide: Claims about Israel spread at lightning speed around the world
Repeated by well-known Hollywood actors and other renowned figures, these accusations take off with lightning speed, traveling around the world and back again in order to do the reputational damage they were meant to cause.
But heaven help you if you decide to take on the fight of these fabricated attacks against individual Jews as well as the State of Israel!
That is the story of Belgium resident, Boris Daune, whose pro-Israel videos became the focus of a controversy. As a result, he became the butt of an intimidation campaign, causing him to leave his home for safer shores.
Apparently, his Instagram account, dedicated to the defense of Israel, which had already accumulated 40,000 followers, became too much of a threat for some anti-Israel folks. They decided to retaliate by putting out fliers accusing Daune of “murder” while, at the same time, outing his place of residence.
Through his ordeal, the Instagram influencer says he learned a hard lesson: that “Israel’s defenders in Europe shouldn’t speak up if they want to lead a comfortable life. If they want that, they need to either move, like we did, or stay silent and conceal their Jewish identity” (“Europe’s pro-Israel Jews are being driven out,” Jewish Chronicle, December 1, 2025). In the end, Daune and his family immigrated to Israel.
A similar incident occurred involving Rabbi Meachem Margolin, also a resident of Belgium, who worked for a Jewish organization. Likewise the target of a flier campaign, accusing him of “lobbying for genocide,” Margolin came to the obvious conclusion that today’s Jews feel safer in Israel than they do remaining in Europe, despite Israel being an area embroiled in war.
The message in all of this is to remain silent in the face of a well-coordinated, global antisemitic campaign, which falsely accuses Israel as being the initiators of aggression as well as the architects of oppression – all designed to trash the Jewish homeland.
Anyone who tries to debunk the libelous claims or set the record straight becomes the personal target of these defamers, who will make life so intolerable and frightening for whomever tries to take them on. Everything is on the table to make these defenders of Israel capitulate.
It’s a battle where only one side can win – and, much to our regret, it is the side of evil beings whose unjustified hatred of Jews and their state motivates them to unleash the rage inside of them – even if the assertions are not real.
They will stop at nothing until Jews are portrayed as the monsters these evil people make them out to be. And woe to anyone who gets in the way of that message being promoted.
It only took the catalyst of October 7 for these latent feelings to return with a vengeance. From that vicious attack, against Israeli foreign civilians, we now are confronted with the term Zionism being synonymous with racism and bigotry.
But there is a consistency to that conclusion, because the belief in a Jewish homeland, and the desire to further that dream, is seen as a grave threat to those who despise Jews.
The realization of millions of Jews, returning to the land of their forefathers, unimpeded from reaching their highest potential, is just too intimidating to the ones dedicated to wiping them out before they ever achieve greatness. Because once Jews attain their greatest accomplishments, it will be very difficult to continue the falsehoods about them.
What can you say when life-saving medical treatments are available, courtesy of Israeli ingenuity? Or, how can you argue that the technological advancements which provide food for the entire world are a bad thing, just because it was invented by Israelis?
So, perhaps the real goal is to suppress the Jewish people, preventing them from returning to their homeland and achieving the things that would better mankind. That way, no credit has to be given to the people they hold in contempt.
It all makes sense when you look at it that way. The unbridled hatred toward Jews and the State of Israel can be attributed to the baffling need to disavow a race of people who have dedicated themselves to blessing a world that doesn’t want their help.
If you didn’t know better, you’d think that some people prefer to suffer if it means the ability to continue defaming Jews. But who would believe such a fantastical thing?
