Bennett, Lapid announce political merger, invite Eisenkot to join

Yesh Atid and the “Bennett 2026” party announced a political merger into a new joint list, to be led by Naftali Bennett. The move is aimed at unifying what they described as the “reform bloc” and ending internal divisions.
Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot welcomed the development, calling the goal of winning the upcoming critical elections a shared mission, and describing Bennett and Lapid as partners.
