The six congresspeople who voted against Israel’s safety

How does one interpret voting in favor of an amendment that would block U.S. funding for Israel’s Iron Dome?

That extraordinary defense system, which uses radar to detect incoming rockets from hostile enemy countries. Many population centers, within the Jewish state, have been protected as a result of the ability to intercept those launched missiles before they land on buildings, homes, schools, hospitals and any other places where people are present.

In other words, without that cutting edge technology, Israel would have likely suffered the loss of hundreds of thousands of people – Jews, Arabs, Christians, Druze and anyone else who lives here, works here or is visiting. Such a devastation of Jewish lives has not been seen since the dark days of the Holocaust, when six million, who had no defense mechanism to protect them, perished.

Perhaps, the most baffling question of all is why Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene would even sponsor legislation that could result in massive casualties of Israelis, not to mention all the others who are here, including many Americans who work for Christian ministries?

The congresswoman’s reasoning was in order “to cut $500 million in funding for nuclear-armed Israel’s missile defense system.”  Ironically, Taylor Greene said that the phrasing of those words was important to be emphasized as she said them.  It’s curious that she would refer to Israel as a “nuclear-armed country,” while, at the same time, citing the “high cost of foreign aid amid growing national debt.”  Republican US lawmaker seeks to cut $500M in funding for Israeli missile defense

Which is it?  Because it can’t be both.  Either she’s fixated on the high price of helping Israel survive those who want to obliterate her or she is opposed to a country which allegedly has nuclear arms.  Does Taylor Greene really lose sleep at night over the possibility that Israel, a nation which boasts its high commitment to morality and the sanctity of human life, would indiscriminately choose to wipe another country off of the map, by virtue of the fact that it could?

The congresswoman apparently does not realize that Israel is fighting a global war against jihadists, whose aim is to kill the infidels of which, in their estimation, she is one?  Without the Iron Dome system, Israel’s chances of emerging victorious would be seriously diminished – so much so, that Jihadi terrorists might actually make their way to America earlier than they anticipated.

Perhaps, such a possibility would be responsible for the congresswoman experiencing a few sleepless nights, even if it’s only for her 14th district of Georgia.  She likely wouldn’t be too rattled over the fate of the estimated 7.5 million Jews who are said to be living in the U.S.

It was in 2018 when Taylor Greene “took to social media to share her suspicions that the California wildfires were started by space solar generators which were funded by powerful, mysterious backers who thousands blamed as being on Jewish space lasers and ultimately the Rothschild family.” Jewish Space Lasers, Conspiracy Theories, and Antisemitism | American Jewish University

According to the Forward, a Jewish independent non-profit, Taylor Greene has also “accused Jews of controlling the weather.” People think Jews caused hurricanes in order to swing the election – The Forward

Although her political leanings may be 180 degrees different from those of Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, a well-known anti-Israel advocate, it’s interesting that they “both recently voted ‘present’ on an item condemning antisemitism, the only two representatives not to vote yes on a bipartisan resolution condemning the rise in ideologically motivated attacks against Jews in the wake of the Colorado firebombing.” Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rashida Tlaib vote ‘present’ on item condemning antisemitism | The Times of Israel

Does the adage, “Birds of a feather” come to mind?  Because, predictably, Tlaib, is one of the six in congress who voted for defunding the Iron Dome system, essentially proving that when it comes to the safety of the Jewish people, they couldn’t care less.

As for the other four, they are:

Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Texas Democratic Congressman Al Green, Pennsylvania Democratic Congresswoman Summer Lee and Republican Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie.

These are the individuals who may not be willing to come out and admit it, but by voting as they did, they are, in essence, rooting for the demise of the Jewish State and helping to prop up Hamas terrorists, the Houthis of Yemen, Hezbollah of Lebanon and The Islamic Republic of Iran.  Because they are the entities committed to endlessly attacking Israel until she ceases to exist.

Each of these individuals can hide behind the money factor or feign concern over the ongoing war, which has been responsible for the loss of the lives of innocent children.  But who was responsible for those deaths, if not the ones who initiated the bloody massacre of October 7th? Who were the ones who recruited young boys into their ranks, training them to become Islamic martyrs, the highest honor to which they say one can aspire.

And while we’re at it, who is responsible for hungry Gazan children, if not the cruel Hamas terrorists who stole all the food which was meant to feed those kids and their parents? So, spare all of us the disingenuous excuse of the tragic death of children, many of whom were killed by their own leadership which exploits those dead images as a way to disseminate more Jew hatred.

Thankfully, in the end, the vote of that disastrous amendment was 422 “No” to 6 “Yes” and 9 who chose not to vote.  Those results would indicate that the vast majority of people who serve in congress understand the important role that the Iron Dome plays when it comes to the survival of Israel.

They likely realize that, one day, in the not-too-distant future, they, too, might find themselves in need of this vital technology, developed by Israel.  After seeing what it’s done for us, they clearly understand that it will save precious American lives, as well as any others who might find themselves similarly imperiled by the global jihad that threatens mankind.

As for the others, both Democrats and Republicans, they may soon discover that a vote against the welfare of Israel is a regrettable move, especially because God, Himself has come down on the side of the nation which He calls His own!
