Democrats who want to reward Hamas

If you live in Vermont, Virginia, Indiana, Texas, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Oregon, Florida, Washington, D.C., Arizona, Georgia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Maine, Washington, Hawaii, New York or New Jersey, one or more of your Democratic congresspeople have decided that Hamas should be rewarded by granting them official Palestinian state recognition.
It's not enough that many of these same politicians have advanced reckless policies, such as defunding police, open borders, granting voting rights to illegals, cashless bail, gender mutilation and many other measures, all designed to weaken and harm American interests.
Now, unsatisfied with the local chaos, they hope to create, their new endeavor is to branch out and assist in rewarding terrorism in the Middle East.
Among these congresspeople, none of whom know what it’s like to live next door to a terrorist regime, committed to their destruction, would probably be able to defend their decision to grant Palestinians a state.
Are they even aware that no legitimate government has been suggested to head this newfound entity? Where would this state be located – in the rubble of Gaza?Who will be its citizens – the few remaining people who have not yet left the area?Who will rebuild its infrastructure and provide services and food for any who choose to stay? And, most importantly, who will guarantee that Israel is protected from another October 7th style massacre?
It's doubtful that any of these crucial subjects have been taken up by the likes of California Congressman Ro Khanna, the initiator of this ill-fated and ill-timed proposal, supported by 47 others in his party. In fact, it’s even more doubtful that those championing this disastrous measure have ever viewed any footage of the shocking atrocities which took place that day.
Had they seen the savage acts, committed by the same people they hope to reward, they might actually shriek with horror, realizing that anything short of executing those terrorists is justice. How fortuitous for Hamas, that despite all they did, American legislators are insane enough to give them a state.
But if any of these congressional representatives would deny they are trying to help Hamas, but, rather, doing this for the Gazan people, they should think again. Because these are the same people, who when told that a massive slaughter had taken place, killing over a thousand people, including whole families, there was celebration in the streets and the outcry of joy. These are the same people who sent their young boys off to summer camps to be trained in warfare against the citizens of Israel. And these are the same people who democratically voted Hamas into power, deferring to their genocidal plan against the Jewish state.
Let’s not forget that the thousands of kilometers of Gazan tunnels were built by its citizens. So, who didn’t know what was being planned?
Still embedded in their population are hardened terrorists whose inbred ideology against the Jewish people is part of their psyche and motivation, fueled by their hatred, pushing them towards their goal of our destruction.
But why should that be of any interest to State representatives whose lives are unthreatened as a result of their security details who carefully watch over them? All that really matters is retaining their positions of power, something which will be assured if they bow to the will of the more extreme elements of their party who have seized control.
Khanna, who addressed the National Arab American Convention last Saturday can also feel secure, knowing that he is supported by the ever-growing Muslim population in America, all of whom advocate for punitive measures against Israel for defending herself against two years of non-stop attacks.
In fact, Khanna unashamedly stated that even “more Democrats should have signed the letter, questioning how his colleagues could not have believed it was time to recognize Palestinian aspirations for self-determination.”
Sure, what better time to grant statehood to the same people who have been holding Israeli hostages in their underground tunnels for nearly two years, systematically starving and torturing them to death! Who wouldn’t want to reward them for that kind of inhumane treatment?
It makes you wonder who these representatives are – completely lacking in empathy, humanity and decency. Unable to imagine what it’s like to languish in the depths of hell, day and night, they are, instead, politically posturing for their seats of power. Unable to employ any bit of conscience or feeling, they press on, selling out whomever they must.
It's, indeed, a sad day when scores of Jewish Democrat representatives do not stand united, at least against the issue of Palestinian statehood, knowing that if Israel stands to be jeopardized, by helping to prop up a terrorist entity, then millions of their own people will also be at risk. Yes, it may cost them their popularity and even their position, but how do you look at yourself in the mirror, knowing that your job security came at the expense of your own homeland?
The level of ignorance, indifference and self-serving has never been greater than at this moment in time when politics has become a survival of the fittest blood sport, Take down whomever stands in your way. Shut down all loyalties, sentiments and self-examination, because anyone seeking power cannot afford to retain those values.
This is exactly what was expressed in a recent blog entitled, “The Sin of Political Silence.” Expressing his own frustration, writer, Sherwin Pomerantz believes that some government members “are not happy with decisions being made by the Prime Minister and security cabinet. Yet they remain silent. In the end of his article, Pomerantz quotes Albert Einstein who said, “If I were to remain silent, I’d be guilty of complicity.”
Likewise, Democratic lawmakers who know the folly of declaring a Palestinian state, especially after the tragedy of October 7th as well as the ongoing captivity of hostages, held under the worst conditions known to man, are, indeed, complicit in rewarding Hamas terrorists.
Of course, it is highly unlikely that President Trump or Secretary of State Rubio would take the advice of these congressional lunatics, who obviously care nothing about the Jewish state, but they have revealed their hand. By openly exposing their Palestinian card, there is no doubt where they stand.
Rewarding a terrorist entity, after it has committed the worst crimes against humanity, should be evidence enough that their lack of wisdom, judgment and survival instincts will eventually be manifested in the inability to care for their own American population!
