IDF chief Zamir warned the Iranian regime that there would be no “safe place” anywhere in the Middle East on Sunday, as the Israeli Air Force continued massive waves of airstrikes against targets of the regime in the capital Tehran, in Isfahan, and the Lebanese capital of Beirut.

“We are now striking the most dangerous enemy we face, Iran,” Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir said at a situational assessment at the Home Front Command as the Israeli military entered the second week of the war.

“Iran has also built the axis. It built Hezbollah, and in many respects, it built Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in Gaza. It is building networks and militias in various places, creating a regional system intended to harm us,” Zamir said, stressing, “We are now going after the head of the snake.”

On Monday, the Israeli military said it continued to “deepen the damage to all arrays and capabilities of the Iranian terror regime” by striking a rocket engine production facility and several long-range ballistic missiles launch sites, as well as military infrastructure of the Internal Security and the Basij militia, tasked with suppressing internal dissent.

Strikes hit “the headquarters of the Iranian regime's regional corps, the Internal Security forces command center of the Iranian regime in Isfahan, an additional base used by the IRGC and Basij, and the IRGC's police headquarters,” the IDF noted.

The day before, the IDF said it attacked over 400 military infrastructure targets in western and central Iran over the past 24 hours.

Among the targeted sites was the regime’s IRGC Space Force headquarters, which served as “a reception, transmission, and research center for the Iranian Space Agency,” and “command-and-control structure for the ‘Khayyam’ satellite,” which the IDF said was used by the IRGC to spy on Israel.

Massive explosions were caused by additional strikes on some 50 ammunition bunkers.

Other strikes hit the IRGC’s Air Force Headquarters, “the main command-and-control center used to direct the regime’s air force activity. The Iranian terror regime’s ballistic missile command, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) array, and other air force units all operated in the headquarters.”

“The Air Force Headquarters was also responsible for producing a situational picture and for planning missile attacks on the State of Israel and the countries in the region,” said the IDF.

The Israeli Air Force also continued to hunt senior Iranian officers, killing the Head of the Military Office of the Supreme Leader and Chief of Staff of the Emergency Command Headquarters in Tehran, as well as five senior officers of the IRGC Quds Force in Beirut.

Abolqasem Baba’iyan was only recently designated as the Supreme Leader’s chief of staff after his predecessor was eliminated last week. He had been appointed leader of the Emergency Command Headquarters (Khatam al-Anbiya) after his predecessor, Ali Shadmani, was eliminated during Operation Rising Lion last year.

Meanwhile, a strike on a hotel room in Beirut killed five senior commanders in the IRGC Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps. The strike was conducted by the Israeli Navy with precision munitions.

“The Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps serves as a central liaison between the Hezbollah terrorist organization and the Iranian terrorist regime,” the IDF explained, noting “its senior officials synchronize activities across the various terrorist organizations operating in Lebanon.”

The strike killed the Quds Force’s officer “responsible for transferring funds to the regime’s proxies in Lebanon,” including the group’s Lebanon and Palestine Corps, Hezbollah, Hama’s Lebanon branch, “and additional terrorist organizations operating from Lebanon. He was also responsible for funding and producing weapons to advance Hezbollah’s military activity.”

Another killed officer was the Lebanon Corps’ Head of Intelligence, and “was considered a significant source of expertise in the field of intelligence research and, in his role, gathered intelligence” for Hezbollah.”

Alongside them, the strike killed the Quds Force Palestine Corps’s Intelligence Officer, “responsible for collecting intelligence for Palestinian terrorist organizations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.”

“These commanders were eliminated following the elimination of the commander of the Lebanon Corps last week, Daoud Ali Zadeh. Their elimination constitutes a significant and necessary blow to the Iranian presence in Lebanon and to the Hezbollah terrorist organization,” the IDF noted.
