The Israeli military published audio and video footage of a fighter jet pilot flying in Iranian territory.

In a Hebrew-language version of the short clip, the pilot said that he and other pilots were currently in formation above Tehran, "on the way to attacking historic targets... we'll reach any place and any enemy, for our country and the security of our families."

"We feel your support all the time," he added, "citizens of Israel, we wish you a secure and quiet Shabbat, see you at home."

17:18 - WATCH: IDF tries to assassinate senior Iranian leader in Khamenei's underground bunker

The Israeli Air Force attempted to assassinate Asghar Mir-Hejazi, former Supreme Leader Khamenei's intelligence and security advisor and a senior official in his office, during a massive strike on Khamenei's underground bunker beneath his office in central Tehran, IDF officials told Israeli media outlets.

Earlier, the IDF had published footage of the strikes, which it said were carried out by 50 jets dropping 100 bombs on the compound.

16:45 - Eight Israeli soldiers wounded in attack near Lebanon border, five seriously

Eight soldiers of the Givati Brigade were wounded by rocket or mortar fire at a post near the Lebanese border in northern Israel, the military said.

Five of them were seriously injured, while the others sustained light injuries.

Among the lightly wounded was the son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. The circumstances of the attack are under investigation as fighting continues along the northern front.
