'The struggle never dies' - Pro-Palestinian groups in US vow to continue anti-Israel protests until 'liberation'

The Palestinian Youth Movement – an organization reportedly linked to the PFLP, a designated terrorist group – announced on Thursday that it would continue organizing protests in New York City and other cities across the United States and Canada, despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s historic agreement to end the war in Gaza.
“Gaza will rise, the struggle never dies,” the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) said in its statement, vowing to continue to work “to lift the siege, liberate all prisoners, end the occupation, and free our land. From the river to the sea.”
On Saturday, the PYM protested in front of Congress, with participants wearing green Hamas bandanas, covering their faces in keffiyehs, and shouting “Globalize the Intifada” at the Congressional Dome.
The PYM's announcements were shared widely by anti-Zionist activist groups across the U.S., with several posting their opposition to the ceasefire deal.
Another group aligned with Hamas, the Palestinian Feminist Collective, announced it would “continue to advocate for an arms embargo, an end to the siege, and a liberated Palestine from the river to the sea.”
National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), another campus movement with ties to Hamas, declared, “Freedom is only born in the womb of suffering.”
Immediately following the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack, in which it referred to the massacre as “the resistance,” NSJP released a “toolkit” and stated: “Palestinian students in exile are PART of this movement, not in solidarity with this movement.”
Within Our Lifetime, a radical extremist group that supports Hamas, said, “Every free person must feel a debt upon their shoulders toward Gaza and its people, a debt that can only be discharged by the complete removal and dissolution of this occupation.”
One of its senior organizers, Abdullah Akl, a Harvard University graduate student studying for a degree in government, incited violence in New York City at a pro-Palestinian demonstration on Tuesday, the second anniversary of the Hamas attack.
“We did not act enough,” he said. “If we acted enough, the headline behind me would read: Gaza has been liberated. So our work is not done. We must show up stronger than we did on the first October 7th. We will keep fighting until Palestine is free, from the river to the sea within our lifetime.”
Last year, Akl was seen calling for the bombing of Tel Aviv. He remains a graduate student at Harvard University, where he is reportedly pursuing a master’s degree in government.
