19:34 - IDF probes whether Israeli killed in the north was hit by friendly fire

"The IDF is conducting a comprehensive investigation involving all relevant authorities following the fire toward Misgav Am this morning, in which an Israeli civilian was killed," the Israeli military stated.

"The possibility that the incident involved fire originating from IDF soldiers is being examined."

The man was identified as Ofer Moskovitz, an avocado farmer who served as a spokesman for Kibbutz Misgav Am. Hezbollah later claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was targeting IDF soldiers.

"The IDF extends its deep condolences to the family at this difficult time. The IDF is in ongoing contact with the Kibbutz."

18:41 - WATCH: No injuries as IDF intercepts 8th Iranian ballistic missile attack of the day

No injuries were reported ballistic missile targeting the area of Dimona and nearby towns in the Negev Desert was intercepted by air defenses. This was the eighth Iranian attack on Israel today.

Footage circulating on social media indicated that the apparent interception occurred outside the atmosphere, probably by Israel's long-range Arrow 3 air defense system.

18:15 - Lebanon condemns IDF strikes on bridges over Litani River, as Hezbollah continues to attack

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned Israel’s strikes on several bridges over the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

"These attacks constitute a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty. They are considered a prelude to a ground invasion — something Lebanon has repeatedly warned against through diplomatic channels,” Aoun said on his office’s X account.

His statement followed an IDF strike on the Qasmiya Bridge on the Litani River on the coastal highway, the fifth bridge the IDF destroyed amid renewed fighting with Hezbollah.

The Lebanese terror group has kept up a near-constant attack on northern Israel today, firing rockets and drones on a near hourly basis.

15:43 - Iranian cluster missile causes damage in central Israel, no injuries

An Iranian ballistic missile with an apparent cluster warhead caused damage in several towns in central Israel, but no injuries.

Damage to buildings was reported from the cities of Bat Yam and Holon, rescue services said.


14:15 - DM Katz says Iran will be 'sent back decades' if it continues attacking cities

Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Sunday that Iran will be sent decades back if it keeps targeting civilian areas.

“If this continues, we’ll be sure to hit Iran so hard it will be sent back decades,” Katz said during a visit to the site of the Iranian missile attack in Arad.

Katz accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of “intentionally firing at population centers,” in an attempt to pressure Israel to end the war.

“This won’t happen,” Katz said. “The home front is strong.”

13:15 - Netanyahu urges European leaders to join fight against Iran

While visiting the site of the missile strike in Arad, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged European leaders to join the U.S.-Israeli military campaign in Iran, citing the threat to their countries.

“If you want proof that Iran endangers the entire world, the last 48 hours have given it. In the last 48 hours, Iran targeted a civilian area,” Netanyahu said.

"They fired an intercontinental ballistic missile on Diego Garcia. That’s 4,000 kilometers. I’ve been warning all the time, they now have the capacity to reach deep into Europe,” he said. “They have already fired on European countries – Cyprus. They are putting everyone in their sights."

“What more proof do you need that this regime that threatens the entire world has to be stopped?” he asked. “It’s time to see the leaders of the rest of the countries join up.”

12:44 - "A miracle happened here" – Netanyahu at the impact site in Arad

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the impact site of a direct hit by an Iranian missile on the southern city of Arad. He said, “A miracle happened here – no one was killed. But we don’t want to rely only on miracles. There were a full ten minutes from the warning until the missile hit. The missile fell here, between the buildings.”

Netanyahu added: “If everyone had entered the protected spaces during that time, the shelters that are here under every building, no one would have been harmed. No one would have been injured either.”

12:20 - Man killed in Hezbollah rocket attack identified as avocado farmer

The man killed in a Hezbollah rocket attack on Misgav Am earlier this morning was identified as Ofer Moskovitz, an avocado farmer who served as a spokesman for Kibbutz Misgav Am.

Moskovitz was killed when a rocket fired by Hezbollah in Lebanon struck his car. Hezbollah later claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was targeting IDF soldiers.

According to Ynet News, Moskovitz told a Haifa radio station on Friday, “I could be hit by a rocket or drone at any moment. It’s Russian roulette.”

12:15 - IDF says no 'systemic failure' in Arad and Dimona attacks Saturday, 92% interception rate

The IDF said there was no systemic failure following the missile impacts in Arad and Dimona, emphasizing that interception rates remain unprecedented – though not perfect.

According to the Israeli Air Force, 92% of incoming missiles were successfully intercepted, including Qadr-type missiles that have been stopped multiple times in the past. Officials added that no operational errors or human mistakes were identified.

12:10 - 15 injured in missile fire to central Israel

Several impacts were identified in the most recent Iranian ballistic missile attack in central Israel, which authorities said involved a cluster munition warhead.

Magen David Adom emergency teams provided medical treatment and evacuated 15 injured people to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva and Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, including a 53-year-old man in moderate condition, and 14 others with light injuries.

12:00 - IDF and Shin Bet kill senior Hamas official in Lebanon

Earlier this week, the IDF killed Walid Muhammad Dib, a senior figure in Hamas' financial network, who operated funding for the terror group's military activities in Lebanon.

As part of his role, Dib was responsible for transferring funds to various departments of Hamas in Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, and other countries, the IDF said.

Dib was also responsible for recruiting operatives and directing terror activities from Syria and Lebanon.

11:55 - 11 people injured in latest ballistic missile attack

Eleven people were moderately or lightly wounded by a cluster munition impact in Tel Aviv, Magen David Adom emergency services said, following the latest Iranian ballistic missile attack towards central Israel.

MDA said it responded to reports of impacts in Tel Aviv and the surrounding area.

Damage from the impacts was reported to several homes and roads, with road closures on the Ayalon Highway.

11:50 - DM Katz says IDF ordered to destroy bridges over Litani River

Defense Minister Israel Katz held a situational assessment with IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and other senior officials Sunday morning, after which Katz said, "The prime minister and I instructed the IDF to 'immediately destroy bridges over the Litani River that are used for terrorist activity.'"

10:30 - Qatar says 6 people dead, 1 missing after a helicopter crash in its waters

The Qatari Interior Ministry said six people were confirmed dead, and one person is still missing from a helicopter crash Saturday evening off the coast of Qatar.

The Sunday morning statement didn’t specify if the helicopter was a civilian or military aircraft.

The Defense Ministry blamed a “technical malfunction” for the crash.

09:50 - Iran says transit through Strait of Hormuz open to all, except 'enemies'

An Iranian diplomat in the United Kingdom says transit through the Strait of Hormuz is open to all, except for Iran's enemies.

He further said that nations only need to coordinate passage with Tehran, the Tasnim news agency reported Sunday.

“The Strait of Hormuz is open to everyone except enemies,” Seyed Ali Mousavi, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization, said, according to Tasnim.

“Navigation is possible with coordination for security and safety arrangements,” Mousavi stated.

08:00 - Vehicle in Galilee hit by apparent Hezbollah rocket fire 

A man was killed and another injured by a direct hit on a vehicle in Misgav Am in the Galilee panhandle. Authorities are examining whether the attack was caused by anti-tank fire from Lebanon. No alarms were activated in the incident. 

According to Magen David Adom emergency services, two vehicles caught fire, and emergency responders pulled the body of one person from one of the vehicles.

The IDF says the incident is under review.

07:50 - IDF troops in southern Lebanon kill Hezbollah operatives, seize weapons 

Troops from IDF Division 36 operating in southern Lebanon raided several military structures belonging to Hezbollah there, killing more than 10 Hezbollah terrorists and seizing weapons, the Israeli military announced this morning. 

07:15 - 175 wounded in last night's missile attacks by Iran on Dimona and Arad

The number of wounded from last night's missile attacks in Arad and Dimona stands at 175 people, according to Soroka Hospital in Beersheva. The report stated that 115 people were injured in Arad, nine of them in serious condition, while in Dimona, 60 people were injured, including a 12-year-old boy in serious condition.

04:10 - Iranian military says it will target regional energy and desalination infrastructure following Trump’s threat 

The Iranian military said it will target regional energy and water infrastructure if the Islamic Republic’s power plants are struck. The statement was made after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to ‘obliterate’ Iranian power plants. 

“Following previous warnings, if Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure is violated by the enemy, all energy, information technology and desalination infrastructure belonging to the US and the regime in the region will be targeted,” Khatam Al-Anbiya, the Iranian military’s operational commander, said in a statement released by the regime-affiliated Fars news agency. 

02:30 - Extremist settlers set fire to buildings in multiple Palestinian villages 

Attacks by groups of extremist settlers were reported in several Palestinian villages in Judea and Samaria overnight. 

During the attacks, the settlers reportedly set fire to homes, vehicles and other property in the villages of Jalud, Fandaqumiya, Silat ad-Dhahr and Qaryut.

U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to “obliterate” Iranian power plants if the Islamic Republic does not open the Strait of Hormuz to all shipping traffic within 48 hours. 

“If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!” Trump posted on Truth Social.
