US strikes underground ballistic missile facility in Isfahan with bunker-buster bombs
The U.S. military carried out overnight strikes on an underground ballistic missile storage facility in Isfahan using bunker-buster bombs. Footage circulating on Iranian social media showed large fireballs and secondary explosions, indicating the munitions penetrated the ground and ignited stored explosives.
The strikes reportedly involved heavy bombers capable of carrying large bunker-penetrating payloads or multiple munitions to maximize impact. In recent days, U.S. B-1, B-2, and B-52 bombers have participated in operations over Iran, launching from bases in the United States and the United Kingdom.
