US-Iran meeting planned for later this week in Islamabad, Pakistan - report
Mediating countries are trying to set up a U.S.-Iran meeting for talks about an end to the war later this week, in Islamabad, Pakistan, Israel's Channel 12 News reported.
U.S. President Donald Trump had revealed that there have been "constructive" talks with an unnamed Iranian representative.
An Israeli official told Channel 12 that Iran’s delegation would be headed by parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, while the U.S. would be represented by Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff as well as Vice President JD Vance.
