US and Israel blocked Hezbollah inclusion in ceasefire deal - report

Lebanese sources told Nidaa Al Watan that the United States and Israel vetoed efforts to include Hezbollah in the ceasefire agreement with Iran. According to the report, Tehran had sought to bring the group into the deal, but the move was rejected.

The sources added that Washington aims to use the ceasefire environment to pressure the Lebanese government into taking more decisive steps, after months of limited progress in implementing measures to disarm Hezbollah.
