US and Iran expected to sign agreement in Pakistan next week - reports
An Iranian official told Germany’s Bild that the United States and Iran are expected to meet next week in Islamabad to sign an agreement.
According to a report in Le Figaro, a senior Pakistani source involved in mediation between Washington and Tehran said the two countries are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding soon, followed by a comprehensive agreement within 60 days.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that while both sides agree on the principle, the technical details "will be worked out later.”
