Ukraine and EU threaten sanctions against Israel over alleged stolen grain trade
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of possible sanctions against Israel over allegations it is importing wheat looted by Russia from occupied Ukrainian territories.
The warning comes amid growing tensions, with the European Union also signaling potential punitive measures. Zelensky said Ukraine is preparing a “sanctions package” targeting those involved in trading “stolen grain.” The remarks follow reports that another shipment, aboard a vessel awaiting docking at Haifa port, may be linked to the disputed imports.
