Two IDF soldiers killed in combat in Lebanon
Two IDF soldiers from the Combat Engineering Corps’ 601st Battalion were killed early Sunday in a Hezbollah attack on an IDF defensive position inside Lebanon, the military announced.
The name of one of the fallen soldiers has been cleared for publication: Staff Sgt. Maher Khatar (38) from Majdal Shams, who served in Division 91 of the Combat Engineering Corps. The name of the second soldier has not yet been released.
