Trump says he postponed new strikes on Iran 'planned for tomorrow' on request of Gulf allies

Amid reports that Israel's military is preparing for a resumption of the war against Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump said he postponed strikes planned for Tuesday following requests from Gulf leaders.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump said the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates asked for the postponement of a "planned Military attack" that was "scheduled for tomorrow" due to the "serious negotiations [that] are now taking place."

"This Deal will include, importantly, NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN," Trump said, adding that he instructed his military "to be prepared to go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice, in the event that an acceptable Deal is not reached."
