Syria arrests Hezbollah-linked terror cell plotting attacks
Syrian authorities announced the arrest of five members of a terror cell linked to Hezbollah, accused of planning attacks aimed at undermining general stability.
According to the Interior Ministry, the suspects were involved in manufacturing explosive devices and had received training abroad in handling explosives. Officials added that the cell is also connected to another group that allegedly plotted to assassinate Rabbi Michael Khoury in Damascus earlier this month.
