Spanish PM condemns US & Israel's 'unjust and illegal war', accuses them of bolstering Russia
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez doubled down on his criticism of the Iran war, calling the United States and Israel’s military action an “unjust and illegal war.”
Both countries have “undermined international law, destabilized the Middle East and reignited conflicts in Iraq and Lebanon,” said Sanchez.
He further argued that the war has “brought insecurity to Gulf countries,” and has helped the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his war on Ukraine, as Russia is benefiting from rising fuel prices and the lifting of sanctions also brought about by the US administration.”
