UAE considers freezing Iranian financial assets after attacks
The United Arab Emirates is considering freezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets held in the country following Iranian attacks on its territory, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
The move could dry up funding networks for Iran’s proxy groups and significantly limit Tehran’s access to foreign currency, the report said. No official decision has yet been announced.
