President Herzog won’t pardon Netanyahu at this stage - report
Israel’s President’s Office responded to a New York Times report by stating that any discussion of a potential pardon for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must be preceded by a plea agreement between the parties.
According to the report, President Isaac Herzog has decided not to grant a pardon at this stage and is instead seeking to mediate toward a negotiated settlement in Netanyahu’s corruption cases.
