Noam Bettan shrugs off anti-Israel protest at Eurovision semi-final
A spectator protesting against Israel was removed from the arena during Noam Bettan’s performance at the Eurovision semifinal.
Bettan later addressed reported boos from parts of the crowd, saying: “I didn’t let it distract me — I focused on the Israeli flags.”
The Israeli entry is scheduled as the 10th performance in the first semifinal, with the Eurovision grand final set to take place on Saturday night.
