Netanyahu orders cancellation of mass Meron celebration amid security concerns
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the cancellation of the large Lag B’Omer celebration in Meron this year, citing the security situation.
According to a letter sent overnight by Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs, the events will instead be held in a limited, symbolic format.
