Major northern Israel protection plan delayed over budget shortfall

A large-scale government plan to fortify communities along Israel’s northern border has been delayed due to a lack of budgetary funding, according to a Kan News report.

In the meantime, the government is expected to approve an immediate response package on Sunday worth 150 million shekels, aimed at renovating bomb shelters and deploying portable protective structures across northern communities.
