Major cyberattack on government websites foiled; link to service outage under review
A large-scale cyberattack targeting Israeli government servers was blocked overnight, authorities said.
Following the DDoS attack, access to gov.il services was briefly disrupted this morning due to a malfunction in a communications component. The National Digital Directorate is examining whether the outage is connected to the cyberattack.
