Trump & Netanyahu said to agree on new Iran strikes if regime doesn't end nuclear program

U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to renewed strikes on Iran, if the Islamic Republic does not reach an agreement with the U.S. to curtail its nuclear program and limit the enrichment of uranium, the Hezbollah-affiliated al-Akhbar newspaper reported.

The report claims that such an agreement would also require Iran to end its support for proxy groups such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthi rebels in Yemen, and the Hamas terror organization.

The report is similar to previous reports in Israeli and international media, stating that President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu had reached an agreement regarding Iran.

Those reports stated that the U.S. agreed, in principle, to renewed strikes if Iran began serious work to rehabilitate its ballistic missile program, or other offensive capabilities, in a manner deemed threatening to Israeli and U.S. interests in the region.
