Lebanese president ‘concerned for Christian and non-Christian villages’ amid security developments

Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar says the President is “concerned for both Christian and non-Christian villages” as the government monitors security developments, including plans to reopen the Masnaa border crossing with Syria.

The statement, posted on Tuesday by Al-Hajjar on X, comes days after the IDF warned it could strike the crossing, citing Hezbollah’s use of it for “military activity and the smuggling of weapons.”
