Israeli basketball player killed in car crash

Raz Adam, a 26-year-old Israeli Premier League basketball player for Hapoel Galil Elyon and former Israeli national team standout, was killed in a car accident near Yesud HaMa’ala on Highway 90.

Adam, who grew up in Elitzur Netanya and starred in Israel’s youth national teams, won two gold medals with Israel’s Under-20 squad at the 2018 and 2019 European Championships.
