Israel struck Russia-Iran weapons smuggling route in Caspian Sea - report

Israel reportedly carried out an unusual strike last week on Bandar Anzali port in Iran, a key hub for weapons transfers between Russia and Iran, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The port, located on the Caspian Sea, is considered a central route for arms smuggling. The strike is said to have taken place last Wednesday, coinciding with reports of explosions in the area at the time.
