Iranian official: US-Iran talks 'unrealistic at this stage' - report
Talks between the U.S. and Iran about a ceasefire don't “appear realistic at this stage”, a senior Iranian official told Reuters.
He added that the 15-point proposal sent by U.S. President Trump is “one-sided and unfair,” serving only US and Israeli interests, and lacking “the minimum requirements for success.”
"In brief, the proposal suggests that Iran would relinquish its ability to defend itself in exchange for a vague plan to lift sanctions," he told Reuters.
