Iran threatens to boycott talks, close Hormuz Strait over Israeli strikes against Hezbollah
Iranian officials have threatened regional mediators that it could boycott planned talks with U.S. officials in Islamabad and close the Strait of Hormuz again unless Israel expands the ceasefire to cover Hezbollah in Lebanon as well, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Israel has declared support for a ceasefire with Iran, but has launched massive strikes against Hezbollah on Wednesday.
Iranian officials also threatened to continue striking regional countries, including Israel, if the IDF doesn't halt its operations against the Iranian proxy in Lebanon.
