Iran FM to UN: Strait of Hormuz situation linked to 'war imposed by US and Israel'

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the UN Secretary-General that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz cannot be viewed separately from what he called a “war imposed by the United States and Israel.”

Araghchi urged countries concerned with peace and security to condemn what he described as aggression against Iran, linking tensions in the strategic waterway to the broader regional conflict.
