Interception debris hits Haifa refineries, fire breaks out after combined barrage
During a combined barrage from Iran and Lebanon toward northern Israel, interception debris struck the Haifa oil refineries, sparking a fire at the site.
Fire and rescue services reported a direct hit on a tanker inside the facility, with thick smoke rising from a nearby structure.
Firefighters, along with plant emergency teams and Home Front Command rescue units, are working to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading, while also searching for trapped individuals.
No injuries have been reported at this stage.
