IDF urges Iranians to avoid train travel as Israel escalates strikes on infrastructure
In a first, the IDF called on Iranians to avoid traveling by train until 9 pm on Monday.
The warning that was published via the IDF's Farsi-language accounts read: "Urgent Warning to Users and Train Passengers in the Country of Iran. Dear Citizens, for the sake of your security, we kindly request that from this moment until 21:00 Iran time, you refrain from using and traveling by train throughout Iran."
"Your presence on trains and near railway lines endangers your life," the statement concluded. The warning follows strikes on the regime's petrochemical facilities, after which Defense Minister Israel Katz said the IDF had been instructed to “continue striking with full force the national infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime."
