IDF: Strike in Tehran targets IRGC unit responsible for suppressing protests
The IDF said a large-scale airstrike in Tehran targeted key Iranian regime infrastructure, including a unit responsible for suppressing domestic protests.
According to the military, the Israeli Air Force struck IRGC security headquarters, ballistic missile facilities, and logistics centers linked to Iran’s internal security forces.
Additional strikes targeted air defense systems, aiming to expand Israeli air superiority over Iranian airspace, the IDF said.
