IDF soldier seriously wounded by mortar fire in Lebanon
An IDF soldier was seriously wounded after a mortar shell was fired at forces operating in Lebanon, the military said Thursday.
In the same incident, an officer and two additional soldiers were lightly injured. All four were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were notified.
In a separate overnight incident, a combat officer was moderately wounded by shrapnel from friendly fire and was also taken for treatment.
