IDF soldier killed by Hezbollah fire

An IDF soldier was killed in combat after coming under Hezbollah fire in southern Lebanon, the military announced Friday morning.

Staff Sgt. Negev Dagan, 20, served in the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion.

Dagan, from Dekel in southern Israel, is the 19th IDF fatality in southern Lebanon since the outbreak of the war with Iran.
