IDF sees decline in Iran’s missile firepower, warns of possible Passover Eve surge

The IDF assesses that Iran’s missile launch capabilities have declined, citing increased attacks toward southern Israel combined with nighttime lulls as signs Tehran is struggling to carry out large-scale barrages. The assessment attributes this to damage inflicted on Iranian launch systems.

Security officials believe Iran is focusing on the Dimona area and may think it has already struck it, prompting continued targeting of the south in an attempt to hit it again. The IDF is also preparing for the possibility of increased rocket fire during the upcoming holiday evening, though no concrete indications of such an escalation have been identified so far.
