IDF says 200+ targets struck in Iran over the past 24 hours

The IDF spokesperson said Friday that more than 200 targets across western and central Iran were struck in the past 24 hours, including ballistic missile launchers, air defense systems, and weapons production sites.

A day earlier, the military announced a new wave of “wide-scale” strikes on Iran and shortly afterward a strike on the Taleghan nuclear compound in Tehran.

According to the statement, the attacks are part of ongoing operations targeting knowledge centers and infrastructure linked to Iran’s nuclear weapons program, aimed at eliminating the "emerging existential threat to the State of Israel.”
