IDF kills 20 terrorists in Gaza within a week, destroys tunnel in Rafah
The Israel Defense Forces said troops operating east of the “yellow line” in the Gaza Strip this week killed 20 militants accused of violating the ceasefire.
Among them was the deputy commander of Hamas’ Nukhba unit in Beit Lahia, who took part in the Oct. 7 massacre and allegedly planned a sniper attack during the truce.
The army also said forces located a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket production site in Khan Younis, destroyed an attack tunnel near Rafah, and intercepted a drone smuggling nine pistols into Israel.
