IDF eliminates Iranian ballistic missile commander in Kermanshah strike

The IDF said it killed Makram Atimi, commander of a key Iranian ballistic missile unit in western Iran, in a precise airstrike in the Kermanshah area. According to the military, Atimi oversaw operations in the region and was responsible for dozens of missile launches toward Israel.

In a separate strike, several battalion commanders from the same missile unit were also killed. The IDF said the operations are part of ongoing efforts to degrade Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities and infrastructure in western and central Iran, with continued strikes aimed at reducing attacks on Israeli civilians.
