IDF deploys additional armored division to southern Lebanon, intensifies strikes in Iran
The IDF said another armored division entered southern Lebanon overnight to reinforce defenses and establish a forward security layer for communities in northern Israel. Forces from Brigade 7 reportedly raided Hezbollah positions in the area based on precise intelligence.
Regarding the Iranian front, the military said thousands of targets remain and that achieving the desired results will take time. However, officials noted that the pace of strikes against Iranian regime targets has increased in recent days, including attacks on launch sites and Basij forces across Iran.
Despite the relatively limited missile fire from Iran, the IDF warned against complacency, urging the public to continue following Home Front Command guidelines and stressing that the campaign is not expected to end soon.
