IDF Chief at Western Wall: Shared burden key to Israel’s survival
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said that partnership in national security and equal burden-sharing are essential for Israel’s existence. He made the remarks during the state ceremony marking Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of terror, held at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The ceremony was attended by President Isaac Herzog and Defense Minister Israel Katz.
