IDF calls residents of northern Israel to remain close to shelters amid expectation of intensified fire

The IDF Home Front Command urged residents of northern Israel to remain close to bomb shelters this evening, as Israeli officials told media outlets they expect more large attacks from Hezbollah in the coming hours.

In a first wave of strikes, Hezbollah fired some 100 rockets at targets across northern Israel, in its largest attack yet since it joined the war earlier this month.

Channel 12 cited a senior Israeli official saying, "The coming 24 hours will significantly shape the continuation of the campaign in Lebanon. Hezbollah is bringing about its own end with its own hands.”
