IDF announces 12th soldier killed amid fighting in Lebanon

The IDF announced that Staff Sgt. Touvel Yosef Lifshiz, 20, was killed in a clash with Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Several other soldiers were injured in the incident.

Lifshiz, from Beit She’an, served in the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion. His passing brings the number of Israeli soldiers killed in renewed fighting with Hezbollah to 12.
