Hostile drone intercepted near Eilat, IDF investigates source of fire
Israeli Air Defense systems shot down a drone "launched from the east" near the southern city of Eilat, the IDF announced.
According to Army Radio, the target was intercepted over the sea off the Israeli coast, without triggering alarm sirens in Eilat.
It is not clear from where the drone was launched. The IDF's phrasing "from the east" could suggest launch points in Yemen, Iraq or Iran.
