Honduras declares Hamas & Iranian IRGC as terrorist organizations
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar thanked Honduras for joining the growing list of countries that designate Hamas and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards as terrorist organizations.
“I congratulate Honduran President Nasry Asfura — a strong leader with values and principles — on his decision," Sa'ar stated, "This is another important reinforcement in the global struggle against terrorism, which threatens security throughout the world, including in Latin America.”
According to Sa'ar's office, Honduras is the 46th country to designate the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) as a terrorist organization over the past year, following efforts by the Foreign Ministry to promote terrorist designations against such organizations.
