Israel’s Home Front Command announced that schools in frontline northern communities will remain closed on Sunday and Monday following a series of rocket launches from Lebanon.
Communities along the confrontation line, as well as Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz, Safsufa, Yesod HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer, have been placed under restricted activity guidelines. Educational activities are prohibited, while workplaces may operate only if a protected shelter can be reached in time. Gatherings are limited to 50 people outdoors and 200 indoors, and beaches have been closed to the public.
The Upper Galilee, northern Golan Heights, Katzrin, and Kedmat Zvi have been placed under partial activity restrictions, allowing educational and work activities only in locations with access to protected spaces.
