High Court hears petitions against State Comptroller’s Oct. 7 probe

Israel’s High Court of Justice convened an expanded panel of five justices to hear petitions seeking to halt the State Comptroller’s investigation into the October 7 massacre.

Relatives of victims attended the hearing, including Tzvika Mor and his son Eitan, who was held captive. Mor questioned the opposition to the probe, saying, “Anyone who wants to know the truth shouldn’t prevent an investigation.”

A representative of the State Comptroller said it is the first time the office’s authority to conduct such a review has been challenged.
