Gofman’s lawyer slams Attorney General over Mossad appointment opposition
The attorney representing Roman Gofman criticized Israel’s Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara after she opposed his appointment as Mossad chief, accusing her of setting a legal standard “with no basis.”
Baharav-Miara had earlier raised concerns over the nomination, citing issues of integrity, and proposed including classified materials from current Mossad head David Barnea in the review process.
