France, Sweden urge EU to restrict imports from Israeli settlements
France and Sweden are pushing the European Union to take action against Israeli settlements, including restricting imports of settlement-produced goods, according to a report by Politico.
The two countries have signed a document calling for a ban on such imports, arguing that permanent settlement activity in the West Bank is incompatible with the EU-Israel Association Agreement. They also urged the European Commission to consider imposing tariffs and additional restrictions on these products.
